Halloween at MD Diamonds has always been a fun time, but this year, the holiday brought us an unexpected mystery that feels straight out of a thriller.
Our day started like any other, busy and focused on the details that make our jewelry stand out. By 2:30 p.m., our team was hard at work crafting a custom diamond necklace for a very special client. Every diamond was inspected, every clasp polished, and we were just about ready to put the finishing touches on this exquisite piece.
At 5:30 p.m., we wrapped up for the day, locked up, and set the alarm as usual. As the sun set on the shop, we left with a sense of accomplishment, looking forward to delivering this piece to its future owner.
Then, at 6:30 p.m., we got an alarm notification that changed everything.
Our phones buzzed, alerting us that the shop's alarm had been triggered. Heart racing, we raced back to the store, wondering what could possibly have gone wrong. Arriving back at MD Diamonds, we immediately checked the security footage—and what we saw was nothing short of shocking. A shadowy figure had slipped in and made off with the necklace!
